I earned my Postgraduate Certificate in Legal Nurse Consulting from Duke University, Durham, NC, and hold a Doctorate of Nursing Practice, Summa Cum Laude, from Rush University in Chicago, IL, specializing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in Acute Care.

Currently, I practice in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at St. Louis Children's Hospital, one of the nation’s premier pediatric facilities, treating over 2,000 critically ill children annually from across the U.S. and more than 80 countries.
